How VimBet works

Play in 3 steps

  1. Step 1Pick the results

    For each match choose 1 (home win), X (draw) or 2 (away win).

  2. Step 2Pay for your lines

    Each line costs GH¢1. Unsure about a match? Pick two or three results for it. That adds lines.

  3. Step 3Win a share

    When the matches finish, every line is checked. Get 9 or more right out of 12 and you share that prize.

You decide how sure you are on each match. Covering more results costs more lines, but gives you more chances.

How prizes are shared

The prize pool starts at a guaranteed GH¢10,000 and grows as more people play. It is split into prize tiers:

  • 12 out of 12 correctGH¢4,000+40% of the pool
  • 11 out of 12 correctGH¢2,000+20% of the pool
  • 10 out of 12 correctGH¢2,000+20% of the pool
  • 9 out of 12 correctGH¢2,000+20% of the pool
Winners in a tier share it equally

If 3 lines get 12 out of 12, each wins a third of GH¢4,000.

The figures above are the minimum. When the pool grows, every tier grows with it.

It is shown as unclaimed on the results page. It does not move into the other tiers.

From open to paid

  1. Opens

    Matches and closing time are published.

  2. You play

    Send as many tickets as you like.

  3. Closes

    Sales stop. Tickets can't be changed.

  4. Results

    Each match is recorded as 1, X or 2.

  5. Paid

    Prizes go straight to your wallet.

Questions

Can I change a ticket after I send it?

No. A ticket is final once it is sent. You can send more tickets while the pool is open.

How many tickets can I play?

As many as you like until the pool closes. Each ticket is checked separately.

How is a ticket with many lines checked?

Every line is checked on its own. One ticket can win in more than one tier, and every winning line is paid.

What if a match is postponed, abandoned or cancelled?

It becomes a void match if it isn't finished by midnight (Ghana time) on its scheduled day, is abandoned, cancelled, or struck off for suspected fixing. A void match counts as correct for everyone, whatever you picked. If a pool has too many void matches (more than 2 in a 7- or 8-match pool, 4 in a 12-match pool, 6 in a 15-match pool), it is cancelled and every ticket is refunded in full. Results use the score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time — extra time and penalties don't count.

When and how do I get paid?

When the pool is settled, prizes go into your VimBet wallet. You can withdraw to your mobile money number from the Wallet page.

How do I add money?

Deposit by mobile money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or AirtelTigo Money). Your wallet is credited as soon as the payment is confirmed. All limits are on the deposits & withdrawals page.

Who can play?

Anyone aged 18 or over. Only stake what you can afford to lose. You can set limits or take a break from your account at any time.
